Before there was CAVA there was Domingosiete de Los Angeles a group Claudia Gonzalez co-founded with local guitarist (Praxedis G. Tenorio). The band specialized in the nostalgic sound of Mexico and Cuba's golden era. During the partnership Domingosiete opened for L.A greats Los Lobos & Cuba's own Compay Segundo of the Buena Vista Social Club.
